TRAINING STAND OF TYPE 5 (DC MOTOR – SQUIRREL CAGE INDUCTION MOTOR, DC MOTOR — WOUND ROTOR INDUCTION MOTOR)

Training stand of type 5 (DC Motor — Squirrel Cage Induction Motor, DC Motor — Wound Rotor Induction Motor) is implemented in the form of a control cabinet and separate blocks with a transformer and a braking resistor.

Accepted notation:

  • DCM - DC motor;
  • SCIM - Squirrel Cage Induction Motor;
  • WRIM - Wound Rotor Induction Motor;

The training stand has ample opportunities and can be used, when carrying out laboratory activities in many academic disciplines.

The software is realized under MexBIOS Development Studio environment, which allows the users to modify the software.

For both electric machines, four-quadrant converters are used with the possibility of carrying out a dynamic braking mode (with energy regeneration and release to the brake resistor).

Embedded software for motor power units provides:

  • control of induction electric motor (with and without feedback);
  • DC motor control (with and without feedback);
  • forming an arbitrary mechanical load characteristic as a function of rotational speed;
  • ability to modify the structure and parameters of the software via visual development environment MexBIOS Development Studio.

Basic software provides operation with the machine assemblies DC Motor — Squirrel Cage Induction Motor, DC Motor - DC Motor with separate excitation

Each power converter has two analog outputs 0 to 10 V (12 bits), two isolated inputs 0 to 10 V (12 bits).

On demand it is possible to manufacture the electromechanical machine assemblies with electric motor powers not exceeding the powers indicated in the tables.
